Construction was supervised by a commercial builder. Extra deep footings and the amount of concrete used exceeds the building code. When you step inside the foyer from the 46' front porch the focal point is the second story balcony overlooking the foyer. Molded steel was used to support balcony. Abundant granite counter-tops and 9' granite top island with small sink basin rounds out the beautiful kitchen. The oak floors throughout home on both first and second floors are in pristine condition. The dining room and family room both have a full masonry fireplace with gas logs, 15x17 music room easily accommodates grand piano with space for sofas and chairs, master bedroom has French doors that lead to expansive brick back porch, master bath jetted tub and French wash basins from Jacob Dalafon-Paris. Large master wardrobe with built-in cabinets offer plentiful drawer storage and hanging storage space. Plantation shutters adorn all windows and doors through out the home. On the second floor are three bedrooms and two full baths. Also on the second floor, a hall leading to the 23 x 23 rec/family room has storage closets for off season clothing. The over-sized two car garage is finished with 4'' wood board. Outside the custom construction continues with brick jack arches, roman brick arches and curved brick at widow sills. Front and back covered porches have concrete pads under the brick pavers. Classic Roman columns add to the beauty of the porches.
