The love and passion for real estate was instantly birthed within me. Shortly after that, I obtained my real estate license so I could continue building upon the fire that raged in my belly.
In 2015 after 16 years and countless transactions as an agent, I was offered a management position with a national firm to be the managing broker for all of NC and SC. Moving back to NC after being gone for that long was like coming home.
In 2018 my wife and I, along with our 3 boys decided it was time to open our own brokerage. After studying all of the different models available, we decided the HomeSmart model was the best option to provide high value and low cost options for agents.
Today with over 22+ years in the industry, 4 offices in NC and 100+ agents I can truly say we are just getting started.
When I’m not serving clients or our agents, you will find me hunting, fishing, golfing, woodworking, lifting insane amounts of weight and spending time with my family. My faith in God is the driving force in my life.

Jonathan prepared a listing, prepared all of the social media post, did a Facebook live for the home informing the real estate world that the listing was coming, and once the home went live we had multiple offers, and one over asking price. Jonathan and his team did an amazing job on our listing and purchase. We interviewed 3 agents. We ended up listing with him because he put the most effort and thought into our appointment and getting to know us. He made some great recommendations about staging and a couple of creative "tweaks" that only cost about $200 that I think made a big difference. Our house sold in a week and we had multiple offers. The purchase on our new home was very smooth too. We were in a multiple offer situation and he was able to win the deal. More importantly, he really helped us with the timing and coordination so we would had a really smooth transition. Awesome job. Will use again and refer to friends.

First of all, I would like to comment on Jessika Saunders review on Jonathan Edmiston. It amazes me how ignorant people can be. Especially after being proven wrong, not taking the responsibility to give ALL the facts. For example, the fact that she insisted on listing her trailer home for $220,000 which ended up selling for $100,000. She wasted so much of Jonathan's time and was not satisfied, wanting to waste even more of his time. I have known and worked with Jonathan for over 3 years now. Not only is he professional, he gets the job done. But don't take my word for it, you can see for yourself his track record in selling homes within hours of it being listed. So if you are a seller looking to sell your home, and you aren't living in la-la land, this is the man for the job. But if you think you can list your house that is valued at $100,000 for $220,000, don't waste his time or any other Realtor's time for that matter.
